Taziyeh Performance in Yazd
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Taziyeh performance dubbed “Sun of Furat” is held at Kheirabad Neighoborhood in Iran’s central city of Yazd for five nights.
The performance is held under the health protocols and is broadcast live on social media.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the 680AD Battle of Karbala.
